Natural Bugs, a Green Solution to MTBE Groundwater Contaminiation

PETALUMA, Calif., July 18, 2006 - Although half of the states in the U.S. have banned MTBE - methyl tertiary butyl ether - in gasoline because it contaminates groundwater, past spills and underground storage tank leaks will continue to impair groundwater quality in parts of the country for years or decades to come.

Helping to address this problem are bioreactors from Environmental Resolutions Inc (ERI), now beingused at dozens of locations, which show that naturally occurring microorganisms concentrated in state¬of-the-art bioreactors can effectively clean contaminated groundwater sites. Microorganisms have been used more and more in groundwater remediation in recent years as water industry practitioners learnmore about the microorganisms’ vast treatment capabilities, said Joe O’Connell, President of ERI. He added that bioreactors are more frequently being embraced by water industry officials as a treatment tool since bioreactors can clean both MTBE and related chemicals such as TBA, - tertiary butyl alcohol- and other gasoline components.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ENVIRONMENTAL RESOLUTIONS, INC.
CO-BRANDS UNDER CARDNO NAME

Merger with infrastructure leader creates expanded opportunity and global strength

Lake Forest, CA (October 18, 2010) – Environmental Resolutions, Inc. (ERI), a leader in environmental consulting and remediation services, announced today that it has rebranded itself, Cardno ERI, to reflect its recent merger with Cardno Limited (ASX: CDD), a global provider of physical and social infrastructure services. The Australian-based Cardno has over 150 offices worldwide and a resource base of more than 3,700 staff working on projects in over 70 countries.

Steve Zigan, President of Cardno ERI, said that, “Combining our capabilities with the reputation and expansive reach of Cardno creates an excellent platform for growth. The alliance brings
broader skill sets, capabilities, and a larger scale of operations to our clients.”

The Cardno portfolio of companies provides Cardno ERI and its clients with a wider range of civil and structural engineering, transportation, marine, water modeling and planning services.
Moreover, Cardno’s leadership in social infrastructure opens a new gateway for Cardno ERI to provide critical support to developing communities and those adversely affected by natural
disasters and conflict.

Michael Renshaw, President of Cardno USA, remarked, “Broadening our capabilities in the environmental assessment and remediation business is a natural extension of Cardno’s core
business. Looking at the long-term growing infrastructure needs of the community and associated environmental challenges, we see significant opportunity for Cardno.”

“Emerging environmental laws and regulations are proving key drivers of market growth. At the same time, more and more countries are focused on the need to improve their infrastructure, so significant amounts of money will be allocated to these projects. We are bolstering our stable of solutions with additional environmental-related strength to create opportunities for our business, clients, employees and the communities we serve,” he added.

This past June, Cardno also merged with ENTRIX Inc., one of the country’s largest pure-play firms in natural resources management and environmental consulting. ENTRIX also announced
today that it is rebranding as Cardno ENTRIX. These two subsidiaries significantly expand Cardno’s North American presence while establishing an even stronger foothold within the
strategic environmental arena.

Mr. Zigan added, “We are already experiencing the impact and cross-selling potential of belonging to a global network. Our capabilities are mutually compatible and complementary with Cardno ENTRIX, and we have also begun to tap the diverse range of resources Cardno offers internationally. We expect the momentum to build.”
