Cardno Ranked 34th on ENR Top Design Firm List
Climbed Over 100 Places
Portland, OR (May 4, 2011) - Cardno has climbed over 100 places to rank 34th
on ENR’s Top 500 Design Firms list for 2011 making it the fastest growing
firm in the industry according to the annual survey.
Engineering
News-Record (ENR), a McGraw-Hill publication, released its 2011 list of the
top 500 design firms, ranked according to revenue for design services
performed in 2010. Cardno is pleased to announce that its US operations have
been ranked on three of these lists – Top 500 Design Firms, Top 20
Industrial Process/Petroleum Firms, and Top 100 Pure Designers.
Cardno ranked 34th overall and is the highest ranked firm that is classified
as providing both engineering and environmental services on the Top 500
Design Firms list. The firm moved up more than 100 places since last year as
a result of organic growth in key markets and strategic mergers.
Cardno also ranked 17th on the Top 100 Pure Designers and achieved the
distinction of being the highest ranked predominantly environmental firm on
the list. In addition, the firm placed for the first time on the Top 20
Industrial Process and Petroleum list.
Michael Renshaw, President of
Cardno USA, remarked, "This recognition of Cardno as an important player in
the US design field is extremely gratifying. Over the past 12 months we
significantly expanded our environmental and natural resource management
capabilities and expanded into new geographic markets both within the U.S.
and in Latin America. Looking forward, Cardno expects to further increase
its standing on the ENR lists as we expand our service offerings to both
current and new clients.”
Mr Renshaw thanked the talented staff of
Cardno’s operations across the Americas and their clients for the firm’s
ongoing success and growth.
